What is the Social Agility Index?
Modern workplaces are busy, high-stress, complex environments. Technology is everywhere. However, we still need to collaborate to innovate. In a world where machines prevail, interpersonal ‘21st Century’ skills are more important than ever.
The Social Agility Index is an ongoing survey and performance metric. It measures the interpersonal effectiveness of individuals, teams, organisations and industry sectors. Over time it provides a detailed picture of interpersonal skills effectiveness in the global workforce.
The Index is a soft skills measurement tool comprising a simple and easy to complete online survey, which explores 10 key dimensions of your interpersonal effectiveness. The 10 dimensions are scored to give you a picture of your current interpersonal performance.
How does it work?
The Index comprises three simple, key steps:
- You and/or your team complete our Social Agility Index survey online (it takes about 8 minutes)
- You and/or your team receive a comprehensive summary of your results based on 10 carefully researched interpersonal skills dimensions.
- You use your identified skills gaps to engage in development, training or build your own professional practice and habits.
Why should I use it?
- The Social Agility Index is a human skills measurement tool designed in collaboration with Swinburne University’s CXI Research Group. Following the successful completion of this research project and survey pilot, Social Agility launched the Social Agility Index Survey in February 2021 as an ongoing survey and performance metric.
- The Social Agility Index evaluates the current interpersonal performance of you and/or your team against a range of key indicators.
